Hobbies: traveling, shopping, watching Big Brother and Amazing Race (I am a reality t.v.  junkie), visiting local NC parks and watching sports. During basketball season I cheer for the Maryland Terrapins, GO TERPS! During football season I cheer and attend most University of Tennessee home games with David and his family. Another hobby I have acquired is remodeling a new home, and boy is that fun!

Favorite Vacation Spot: Outer Banks! I would like to travel to Australia one day or maybe Hawaii.

Favorite Ice Cream: I love Cookout’s Banana Pudding MilkshakeJ If you have never been to a Cookout you are truly missing out!

Favorite Movie:  I love romantic comedies and action movies. My favorite movie would still be The Goonies! Can you do the truffle shuffle?  I remember watching this movie all the time with my sister Kristyn and our neighbors, Micah and Jon.  We would all go around quoting the movie and still do to this day! 

My Faith Journey:  I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was eight years old.  I accepted my call to ministry in 2005 and enrolled in Divinity School.  Everyday is a new day that I celebrate in Christ.  I love the Lord and enjoy building relationships with others.  I believe that the Lord has a purpose for every individual and that it is our responsibility to be open to the call He has for our life.  About a year and ten months ago my faith journey brought me to Forest City, NC.  I fell in love with the people of Florence Baptist Church and the community.  The last year has been great and I know that this is where I have been called to serve in youth ministry at this time in my life.
