Proverbs 29:18 says, “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” The Bible calls God’s people to be visionary. What does this mean for us individually and personally? What does this mean for Florence Baptist Church?

Surely it means we are a worshipping people, constantly striving to adore and bring glory to God through words, deeds and actions.

Visionary surely means seeking God’s way and will at all times and in all life-situations. It is the greatest of adventures as we wait upon the Lord, seek His face, and then strive to respond to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

Florence Baptist Church has always been visionary. You have only to read the rich history of the people called Florence to realize this. You have only to come and meet our people to realize this is still true today. We invite you to join us and help shape the vision for 2009 and beyond!
