Crystal Smith

About Me:

Hello, I am Crystal Smith, our Church Secretary here at Florence Baptist Church. I have been blessed to be a part of the staff over the last 12 years: first serving as Church Hostess, later having a dual role as Church Hostess and Office Assistant, and most recently becoming full-time Church Secretary. I am honored to be a part of such a wonderful church family.

My Goals:

My goal in serving as your full-time secretary is to first and foremost do so through prayer. I believe God has called me to Florence and I continue to work according to His divine purpose. I also want to provide an organized and welcoming environment for all church members and visitors. If you are looking for a way to keep up with all Florence has to offer, I highly recommend you look at our weekly messengers. They are packed with information about what all goes on at our church week to week. This is a great way to stay informed and plugged into the church.

I am the wife of Tommy Smith; we are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Kaley Spurlin and Ailey Smith, and a son-in-law, Ryan Spurlin. Ailey our youngest daughter attends Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy where she plays volleyball and soccer. GO GRYPHONS! Our older children Ryan and Kaley Spurlin are alumni of North Carolina State University. GO PACK!

Fun Facts:

In my free time I enjoy collecting and perfecting recipes. I also love to read; one of my favorite authors is Karen Kingsbury. My favorite vacation spot is the beach and I enjoy spending time with my family at Lake James. My favorite ice cream is homemade butter pecan or Dairy Queen’s vanilla cone dipped in chocolate.

Thank you for allowing me to serve as your church secretary! Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns!
