WHAT TO EXPECT
Welcome to Florence Baptist Church. We are so glad you have taken the time to visit our website and we hope it is a tool to help you get to know us and who we are as a church. Our heart is for our neighbors to encounter the Jesus we love. We want you to experience our community and His love from the time you arrive.
You will find the people of Florence to be warm and gracious, mission-minded and visionary. When you arrive, look for one of our greeters, they’ll point you in the right direction. Our First Light worship service starts at 8:45 AM on Sunday mornings. This worship service is upbeat and energetic with live praise band and Biblical based teaching. This service meets in the Life Enrichment Center. Bible study is at 9:45 AM on Sundays, and we do have classes for all ages and all life-situations. Please stop by our welcome desk when you come and we will help you find a class. You can also join us for Salt and Light at 11:00 AM in our Sanctuary. This is a traditional service with a full choir, congregational worship through hymns and biblical based teaching.
If you have kids we have a wonderful kid's ministry during our services. Infants to 3 years old can be checked in prior to our service in the Children's Growth Center. Four years old through 2nd grade leave during the service to go to Kid's Church. Your children are welcome to go for a fun and exiting service geared for their age.
