WOMEN’S MINISTRY

The Women’s Missionary Union (WMU) at Florence Baptist Church desires to be more then a group, we strive to be a family of women who desire to love God, love others, and make Christ known through service. Together, we serve our community through many different ways. Some examples are: nursing home visits, partnering with and supporting Forest City-Dunbar School staff and students, caring for our Blessing Box, supporting Samaritan’s Purse, etc.

Beyond our projects though, our greatest mission is encouraging one another to grow in our faith and to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Whether you’ve been at Florence for years or you’re looking for a place to belong, we’d love for you to join us as we serve, fellowship, pray, and impact our community for Christ. Together, with His help and guidance, we are striving to make a difference for God’s Kingdom within our community.
